My Philosophy
What I do is second nature, it just happens. That's not to say it is accidental in anyway but it is something that I do without missing a step much like driving a car. It's only when people ask me to define my work that I take time to reflect.
For me a photograph is the end result of everything that goes into creating it. It's the perspective that goes into realising a shot. The passion and heart that drives me to pick up the camera. The wonderful opportunities that surround me. The time taken to get the shot that I want and the outcome which is the best thing of all. From my heart and mind into a moment in time for all to enjoy
Every shot is unique. No two photos are exactly the same. A photograph is of the moment, it is a point in time captured that will never be repeated.
If you lock most people in a room then they would initially explore the space and then after a while get bored and demand to be let out. If you lock a photographer in a room they would never tire. When you got to review the images you'd wonder if it was the same room at all.
